The Northwest Neighborhood in Vancouver WA is located just minutes west of Interstate 5 in Vancouver WA. This lovely neighborhood is known for its quiet peaceful streets with well kept homes, most of them built from 1960 to 1992. The NW Neighborhood has a very active neighborhood association, many of the neighbors participate in winter soup nights and summer neighborhood picnics.
Franklin Park is located near the west boundary of NW Neighborhood. Another large parcel of land just south of Franklin Grade school was donated for a future park by Ed and Dolly Lynch, long time NW Neighborhood residents. Franklin grade school at 53rd and Franklin is known for an innovative Mandarin immersion program, and just a few blocks up the hill is Our Lady of Lourdes church and school.
